On 17 November 2017, LKK Health Products Group (LKKHPG) was delighted to receive the “Partner Employer Award 2017/18” consecutively from the Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business, in recognition of the Group’s dedicated commitment to building an inclusive society and their implementation of social responsibility over the past year.
LKKHPG has been devoted to supporting the community and promoting social inclusion over the years. It provides internships and job opportunities as well as training for students and graduates from local universities or vocational institutions, which enables them to develop professionalism and a positive working attitude through hands-on working experience. In addition, as a socially responsible corporation, LKKHPG hires retirees. The Partner Employer Award affirms its efforts in the above areas.
LKKHPG indicates that it will continue to fulfill its corporate social responsibility, provide citizens from different sectors with internships and job opportunities, and fully support this meaningful campaign.
The Partner Employer Award has been organised by the Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business since 2009. The award aims to encourage local enterprises to demonstrate their corporate responsibility by hiring students and graduates from local universities or vocational institutions. It gives them practical working experience while bringing new perspectives to the enterprises’ long-term development. Since 2014, the employment of people with disabilities, rehabilitated offenders, ethnic minorities and retirees has been considered. This year, the employment of retirees is also included. All these measures demonstrate the Hong Kong enterprises’ efforts to integrate into the community and shoulder social responsibility.
