The award examined the candidates from seven dimensions including commitment to shareholders, consumers, employees, social care, environment protection, leadership, and others. The awarding ceremony gathered officials from Hong Kong SAR Government and famous entrepreneurs, scholars and media from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Mainland China. Mr. C.Y. Leung, Chief Executive of Hong Kong SAR, participated at the ceremony where he delivered a speech and conferred the awards.

Mr. Harry Yeung, Senior Vice President of LKKHPG, spoke appreciatively for LKKHPG being recognized again by the renowned media. He said that creating shared value is the defining manifestation of the company’s core values “Si Li Ji Ren” (considering interest of all the parties before taking any action). Aimed at achieving success for all parties involved, the company adopted a helicopter view and positioned itself in a larger ecosystem and value chain, thereby opening up brighter vista for its future development.

Meanwhile, the company strengthened its endeavor to fulfill its CSR on health, quality, employees, partners, the environment, and the community. It fortified the Outstanding Supply Chain Management Model, enabling strict quality control of the production chain from farm to food. It continued to advocate the healthy lifestyle of “Four Regulations” on diet, rest, exercise and emotion, and introduced many new types of welfare for employees such as flexible working hours and longer annual leave

The Company also conducted many large public welfare programs. Among them, the “Si Li Ji Ren Education Dream Support Program”, which had supported 11 classes in 10 provinces by December 2015, benefited 552 students. Students of the first class successfully graduated in July and all of them achieved employment.
